After being a honorable mention Frontier League and 4A all-state selection by KSHSAACovered and Sports In Kansas following the 2025 season Schooler was named to second team all-league following this past season. All-state teams have yet to be announced but I fully expect her to make all three. Schooler is easily one of the most athletic players in the state. An all-state thrower and jumper in track & field Schooler uses her length and hops to get to balls defenders cannot touch, goes up quickly off the catch, and finishes well going both ways around the basket. One thing I really love is how well she strongly she posts and calls for the ball. While I do not have a great handle on her defensive prowess Schooler’s ceiling is high. She could be first team 4A all-state at the end of the 2027 season if her game continues to grow.

Schooler was a constant presence in the paint on both ends of the floor throughout the night. Defensively, she made opponents think twice about attacking the lane, blocking shots and forcing tough misses. On the offensive end, she was just as effective, showing soft touch and excellent footwork around the rim. She played with physicality in the paint and consistently earned trips to the free-throw line over the course of the game.

provided a solid interior presence as a 6’1 center, finishing with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. She was effective around the basket, scoring at will. Her balanced stat line reflects her reliability in the paint and her overall contribution to the team’s performance.

Schooler is going to be the voice of this squad. She has a pre-built catch line for the mic: “Prepare To Be Schooled.” She is the least familiar member of this squad. I haven’t seen the Chieftians play basketball or volleyball in a hot minute, but she has an impressive long frame, and based on her stats, looks like a kill and rebound machine. Schooler is ranked No. 53 overall by PGH. Her finishing move would be called “The Final Exam,” a submission move similar to Bob Backlund’s “Cross-Face Chickenwing.”

This extremely talented, multi-sport athlete can likely play any sport she wants to at the next level. Schooler was the top debuter in the 2027 rankings September update, could easily break the top 50 come late December and is the top center in the 2027 4A class. The 2025 4A state discus champion is a fantastic athlete. Very fast, works both ways around the block, catches and finishes on the fly and will out-jump nearly everybody she encounters for rebounds. On both ends she uses her quick feet to get into a position to post and calls for the ball strongly. That same footwork makes her a strong basket protector as well. Only a Frontier League, KSHSAA and SIK honorable mention selection a year ago there is no question she could earn first team all-league and 4A second or third team by KBCA, KSHSAA and SIK.
