Adey is the type of point guard who can fill the stat sheet in a hurry. She is a true multi-level scorer with strong instincts, and she plays with confidence when the game opens up. In transition she is especially effective, using her height and speed to get downhill, finish at the rim, or rise into a smooth stop-and-pop jumper.
Her feel for the pace of the game allows her to pick the right moments to attack, which makes her difficult to defend over a full game. With her ability to score, create pressure in the open court, and impact the game in multiple areas, Adey has a style that fits well at the CIAA level.

Adey played a crucial role in Oakland Mill’s win over Riverdale Baptist Regional. She scored 10 points, including two three-pointers, but it was her playmaking that was most important. She showed complete control of the offense and kept her team organized when Riverdale went on runs. She played solid defense as well. Great showing for the senior point guard.

Adey appeared to be ready for the season to start. Her ball handling was on full show during today’s scrimmage. The senior stayed poised in both games handling the full court pressure. Once past half court, Adey can score at any level. She was left open a few times at the top of the key and she calmly made her opponent pay. Take away her space and she is capable of using her length and skill to get to the rim. Defensively, she did not stop talking to her teammates as I heard it from the stands. Her height will allow her to guard positions 1-3.

Adey is a really good free throw shooter from beyond the arc. She ha s a quick, smooth release and can get her shot off even when closely guarded. She can shoot and score off the dribble going either right or left. She should be able to spread out the floor so that her teammates can work the driving lanes.
