Africa, a guard for Capital City Express, really stood out during the MI College Tour III stop at Grand Valley State University with an impressive all-around showing. She knocked down shots from deep both at the top of the key and from the wing, displaying confidence as a perimeter scorer. She handled the ball well and kept her team organized offensively, while also making smart reads as a facilitator. After securing defensive rebounds, she wasted no time pushing the tempo in transition. She attacked the basket with control and finished effectively in traffic. Even while being face-guarded for much of the game, she still found ways to produce and make an impact.
