Abby fired up the Hornets with her game-tying corner triple late in the fourth quarter against St. Johns. She knocked down another corner 3 in the first half and finished a layup in traffic. Abby dished 3 assists and corralled 3 rebounds for Williamston. She has the confidence to make clutch shots in important moments of games; she’s done it in travel too.

Abby used her sharpshooting from 3-point distance to make an immediate impact for Williamston as a freshman and I expect her to have a monster sophomore season for the Hornets. Abby competed against seniors during the travel season and that competition will be extremely valuable as she becomes a featured player in her second season. Abby showed poise when handling the ball against pressure and confidence to take (and make) clutch shots in key moments for her travel team. Abby is a fierce competitor who battles inside for rebounds and finishes strong around the rim. She will be an exciting prospect to watch this winter and a breakout player for Williamston in 2024.

There aren’t many prospects who play up two grades for the travel season and fit right in: that’s exactly what Abby did with Michigan Drive Express . She has an athletic build beyond her years and the poise to hit big shots in big moments. In Kentucky, Abby buried a clutch 3 in the corner to force overtime; she battles in the paint for rebounds and contested buckets. Abby is going to be a featured player to watch for Williamston this winter.

Abby Brannan caught my attention with her effective play on both ends for Michigan Drive Express E40 Cool at Battle in the Mitten Sunday. She drove downhill through defenders and scored on an aggressive take and strong left-handed finish. Abby drilled multiple 3’s off the catch and is a guard playing up who I am eager to watch more of this spring.
