Africa, a guard for Capital City Express, really stood out during the MI College Tour III stop at Grand Valley State University with an impressive all-around showing. She knocked down shots from deep both at the top of the key and from the wing, displaying confidence as a perimeter scorer. She handled the ball well and kept her team organized offensively, while also making smart reads as a facilitator. After securing defensive rebounds, she wasted no time pushing the tempo in transition. She attacked the basket with control and finished effectively in traffic. Even while being face-guarded for much of the game, she still found ways to produce and make an impact.

Africa, a foreign exchange student from Spain, has been a lightning rod for the Bath Fighting Bees this season. She has a smooth shooting stroke from beyond the arc, firing from a balanced stance with a confident follow-through. Africa is effective off the catch or the dribble. She’s lanky, creates space to shoot with her sharp crossovers, generates steals on defense, rebounds, and finishes at the rim with a burst.
