Mitchell, on defense, especially shines in defending opposing interior players in post-ups. She has great predictiveness and does a good job at staying in front of her defensive assignment. The two traits of her game often allow her to get a hand on attempted passes out of the post. In a game against Christian Community School last season, she did this a couple of times. She had a total of four steals in this contest.
