About Aiyana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Slasher on offense with a consistent 3 point shot. Shot blocker with good instincts on defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Laid back off the court, enjoys getting after it on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have played 8 years of basketball. I love the game, specifically being a part of a successful team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 7th grade I was cut from the volleyball team during tryouts. Volleyball was a new sport to me at the time. Between 7th and 8th grade I trained volleyball in addition to basketball. In 8th grade I was a starter and team leader in kills and blocks on the volleyball team. I was also a starter on my high school volleyball team as a freshman.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for an opportunity to play basketball at a university that will offer a well-rounded education and help prepare me for life after basketball.

Fourdyce has had a strong impact on the Woodstock program so far this year, and the numbers she’s been able to put up align with that impact. From double-doubles to multiple 10+ point games. The length she has fits perfectly with how she plays the game. Active, but has the pace, aggressive, but knows when to come off the ball. Strong potential.
