She brought it on both ends of the floor from start to finish — physical, relentless, and determined every single minute she was out there. Her rebounding was a difference maker, and her ability to run rim to rim in the open floor turned hustle into easy opportunities that kept her team rolling. Alainah McKavish was not great early, but she started to get it going as the game went on, especially in the second half. She got the half started with a three that extended a one-point Clarke County lead to 4, and after that, it felt like Clarke County started to keep Union at a little bit of a distance. Clarke County started to do great work on the offensive glass, and that was part of why they started to separate from Union. Alainah’s used her size to get her hands on loose rebounds and get some buckets around the rim. She had a couple of blocks at the end and did a great job pushing the ball off her rebounds. Clarke County loves playing fast, so when you’re big, you can handle the ball off a rebound, which helps a lot. She also finished this game as the leading scorer in Clarke County history, so shoutout to Alainah for a massive achievement.

had a really big quarter, getting to the rim and finishing through contact multiple times and knocking down a spot-up three. Alainah is such a fluid athlete for her size, and she glided by defenders effortlessly to get easy shots at the rim. She lived at the line and had a big game in a Clarke County win.

One of the better shooters in the 2026 class! Ball handling has gotten better when the ball is in her hands even though she is a big guard she will show some combo guard skills. She does a great job of picking and choosing her spots. Alainah knocks down shots, operates with poise and patience in when to score either mid range or her three point shot!

Clarke County blew out Prince Edward at home, and Alainah McKavish was fantastic. Prince Edwards shot the ball well early, and it kept them in the game. Where Clarke County dominated this game was in transition and in the paint. Alainah drove the ball well and had a great day on the offensive glass. Alainah hit a three and was terrific this whole game. She has nice size for a wing and is impactful on all three levels. She handles the ball and does everything you want out of a wing.

Great size and with a good wing span, Alainah has a lot ability that is all starting to come together! With her size she can slash a to the basket and can rise over defenders to get her shot off. She has the potential to become a high end defender with her length it makes it easy for her to pick the pocket of her defenders. Upside is through the roof needs to build out her frame that will come from time in the weight room!
