of Spirit Lake High School. Reinke stepped up this season to show everyone watching that she has a great size over 6′ and that she can play. She wasn’t a name that we had on our radar to start the year but she definitely has been a name to note to finish it. Spirit Lake fell just short in their battle Saturday evening but someone that kept them in this game during clutch time was Reinke. She was able to work out of the Post, taking up space in the middle of the lane on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she was a player of opportunity. She was moving into open space and making the most off of others creation off the dribble. Whenever there was a missed shot attempt, she stepped up to try and grab the rebound for another possession. Defensively, if opponents didn’t worry about her, she would end the play with an altered shot of some sorts in the form of a tip or deflection. Spirit Lake might not of made State this time around but looking at their roster from this season and they are in a great spot looking towards the future with their young core.
