Sam Duren | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Alberty is in Houston with Proskills Oklahoma for the Clash of Clubs. Her recruitment recently picked up steam when she was offered by Texas NAIA program, Wayland Baptist. The 918 guard is an off the ball scorer, who is a good shooter from three and in the mid-range. Often has her hands up and quickly gets into her shooting form. Also plays with a good motor and energy on both ends of the court. Alberty and her Pro Skills teammates are also expected to be at our tournament next weekend in Edmond, the Battle of the Big Friendly.

Rock solid all around scoring guard. Shoots it clean and quickly that even with a lower release point, she can hit threes against close outs. Plays tough on both ends of the court. From being a physical finisher at the rim, to holding her ground when defending the post. Then using quick hands to force turnovers.

A combo guard that was very consistent every game I had the opportunity to watch this summer. Going to get an outside shooter off the catch or dribble. A tough physical driver to the rim taking on contact and a player who is going to give 100% on the court. Expect the scoring loaded to increase this season as Rejoice Christian looks to fill some scoring gaps.

Sadie is that guard who does just about everything on the floor. She is a solid shooter from the outside. The form and quick release caught my attention in the 3-point shooting competition. The hands were ready on the catch no wasted movement of flipping the ball or readjusting the guide hand. On the catch she was ready to shoot or give a quick rip in a downhill attack. I think the downhill attack is the best part of her game. She uses the change of speed and direction with the ball setting up the defender for the attack to the opposite direction. The mid-range pull up is best move on the drive as is right in the gap between her and the help defense. The pull up jumper also allows her to use a small pocket dribble to lift the defender getting her to the rim as she is a crafty finisher.
Defensively she is off her girl and up the passing lanes waiting to jump the passing lane. A player that seemed to be around the ball as she was collecting deflections. Sadie has a great attitude when spoken that I am sure results into a very coachable player.
