Gothenburg High School got a major W against Valentine High School at the end of the last week and a big reason for their success was because of the production of their Senior – Shooting Guard, Alex Beveridge Alex Beveridge 5'7" | SG Gothenburg | 2025 State NE . Beveridge ended the evening with a game high 31 points. This is the second contest against Valentine this season and it’s Gothenburg’s second victory as well, leaving them with a 16-2 record throughout their first 18 games this Winter. Gothenburg is one of those programs with a handful of producers. They don’t just rely on one prospect to do all their work and that shows everyone how hard it is to stop them as a group. If they stick together like this come the Post Season, it’s going to take an experienced team to come in and beat them prior to the State Tournament.

Alex Beveridge Alex Beveridge 5'7" | SG Gothenburg | 2025 State NE of Gothenburg High School is returning this Winter for her Senior season and looking to make some noise. Beveridge is a guard that is 16 points away from 1000 for her Varsity career, she is a leader by example and demonstrates that each contest, and she isn’t afraid to mix it up with anyone physically. Doesn’t matter if she is undersized or not. Not to mention, she can shoot the three ball at an extremely high rate. I’ll be looking out for Alex to be a main producer over the next six months with her squad. She possesses all the ability to put together a Winter to remember. Now she just has to go out and do it.
