About Alexandria

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

All round both offense and defense. I enjoy fast paced games and have the endurance to press.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm quiet, soft spoken, no showboating, humble, but am dead focused on winning. I hate losing, but not a sore loser. I tend to beat myself up more than anyone else does.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I tried the flute for my 7th and 8th grade year, but let it go to focus more on basketball in Highschool. Fun fact: I got kicked out of volleyball in the 7th grade because I kept shooting the ball into basketball goals.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I played point gaurd in Junior High, freshman, and JV, but was moved to shooting gaurd due to most of my team being shorter than me on Varsity. So I tend to lead my team with effort and with action more than by voice. I enjoy coming back from behind. Teamwork has been great since I was little. It's not just taking the shot. It's taking our best shot, then making sure they can't find a shot.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My sophomore year, I was positive I was going to be on Varsity. My freshman year I was moved up from freshman team to JV. So at the beginning of my sophmore year I practiced with Varsity everyday until the season started and they told me I was going to be on JV. I cried for weeks, and am still upset over that. I spent the season, leading the team in all stats for most games, but was upset.

What type of college are you looking for?

I enjoy playing basketball. I love playing the game. I just want to play on a team where I can grow. I want to be the best I can be and play for a Coach who can get me there.
