Myers high energy raises the level of the players around her. On defense, she is always engaged and is a tough player for opposing guards to navigate past. On offense, she has a detailed and dynamic game.
Myers excels in pick-and-roll situations. She is a good passer out of these actions and pairs that ability with a good long-range and mid-range jumper. Myers is also a crafty scorer around the basket. She can score with both her left and right hands and has an effective euro step in her bag of offensive tricks.

Alexis Meyers showed off some promising skills at the guard position at the TN Expo.
In the three-on-three session, she had a couple of good buckets in a singular game. She put together some advanced dribble combinations, which she used to get lanes to the bucket for the two scores.
Something that also stood out about Meyers is that she is a team player. She never forces her offense and has no problem just swinging the ball and keeping the offense moving. Meyers has all the capabilities to drive and generate a shot when she wants, but she instead just chooses to do what is best for her team.

Speedy kid who is a solid two-way player. She held her own on the defensive side, keeping her opponent in front, forcing them to make tough decisions or shots. She was nice in transition, hitting teammates in stride, knowing when to attack the basketball. She had a good showing in both 3v3 and 5v5. The kid is hungry and I loved how she wasn’t backing down from any upperclassmen. Look for her to gain even more confidence and when she does, she will launch herself into many conversations for the rest of her career. Tremendous player with a nice upside.

Alexis was impressive on the defensive end! She used active hands to create turnovers and had 2 steals in the game. She also shoots it well from beyond the arc, made good passes, and converted on a tough “And 1” play.
