I'm a skilled sharpshooter and a strategic player, especially when it comes to driving. As a dedicated student of the game, I have focused on honing my shooting and defensive skills, as well as refining my footwork technique. I am working to become the unique player that I have the potential to become.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Fast-paced and bursting with energy, I thrive on connection and bringing joy to others. Loving, caring, and effortlessly friendly, I’m the kind of person who lights up a room and keeps the good vibes flowing. I'm fully committed to achieving my objectives.
When I am in, I am all in with all my passion.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I'm grateful to be involved in our school as SGA and NJHS president. I love playing the trumpet with the Concert band, and rocking the drums with the Jazz band. I'm a dedicated student, consistently in the A honor roll. I am excited to be accepted into NCTHS Magnet.
I also value giving back through volunteering at the GHHS shelter and as an active Red Cross certified babysitter.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
As a volunteer at the Greater Huntsville Humane Society I care for animals in need and I babysit weekly, building meaningful connections. I am adept at following directions when needed, making me a highly coachable and adaptable individual who thrives in collaborative environments. I’ve also mastered some life skills such as managing my schedule, completing chores, planning and leading activities
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Immigrating as a 6 year old, learning a new language and culture, and finding a sense of belonging wasn't always easy. However, I also had a lot of guidance and wonderful people helping me along the way, and these challenges became opportunities for me to grow as well as leave my mark on my new surroundings.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m still figuring things out, but I’m planning to pursue a path in health sciences or the biomedical field.
