Aliyah has a robust frame, great fundamentals and is a true gamer. Overall, she just makes the right plays while understanding where to be at the right times. There’s not an area to her game that’s truly lacking.

Aliyah put together a strong sophomore season at Nobles and will look to carry that momentum into AAU with Shooting Touch. She shows good footwork around the basket, staying on balance while pivoting and finishing with a soft touch. She attacks well off the dribble, getting all the way to the rim, and when defenses collapse, she makes the right read by kicking it out to open teammates.

Every coach would love to have a player like Allston-Pujols on their team. She’s a leader by example and gets the job done any way needed. Aliyah is prepared to excel in any scenario and is a natural mismatch no matter what role played. There’re not many top players willing to give their body up the way Allston-Pulos does either. Her tenacious activity leads to securing many possessions. She’ll dive for loose balls, fight for rebounds and willingly go for the needed tie-ups. The hustle plus the advanced overall skillset sets her apart from many. Aliyah is the #1 ranked player at the position and rightfully so.

What a beast Aliyah is. She’s a versatile forward that can play a few roles and is one fierce competitor. There’re not many players with the size, athleticism, foundational strength, stability, agility, consistency on both sides of the ball and the defensive IQ of Allston-Pujols. On top it it all, she’s a hard worker too. The 2-way play she provides is unquestionably influential to winning basketball.

Aliyah is coming into the season as the third best player in the entire class this year. Her smooth game consisting of advanced skill and physical attributes put her at the top of the list. The rising freshman has experience playing on a championship NEPSAC team. She contributed valuable minutes on a squad that was flooded with talent. Aliyah’s physical gifts allow her play multiple positions at a high level. Her strength and speed truly make her a mismatch for most opponents. She has a silky jump shot that falls effortlessly, but doesn’t overly rely on it to be impactful. Transition is an area where Aliyah really shines. When she gets the ball in the open court, look out! Coast-to-coast athletic takes are somewhat normal. The offensive rebounding Aliyah provides is top tier for the position. Allston-Pujols’ skillset translates to the defensive side as well. She’s a tremendous rebounder and can cover the quick twitchier perimeter players or hold her own on the block. Allston-Pujols will come into the season looking to cement a legacy and hopefully become a repeat champion.
