Alli Chapman Alli Chapman 5'6" | SG Cabell Midland | 2029 WV needs to believe in Alli Chapman Alli Chapman 5'6" | SG Cabell Midland | 2029 WV . Plain and simple. She has the ability to be an excellent contributor to GW’s depth this season. Her basketball IQ helps her always make the right play. The ability to shoot is there. Her defense is exceptional. She has the motor to always get better. She, often, joins Berry-Bruce and Gumm in the gym during GW’s lunch period to get shots up. The thing I would like to see from her is to be comfortable with the green light. Her shot is there and it is going to fall. This GW team is open, wheeling and dealing, and no one is going to have a problem with the basketball leaving her hand on the way to the rim. I am confident in her abilities. Go have fun and get ready to play in college, if you so choose, young lady.

Chapman is making an impact on the court on varsity as a freshman. I have spoken about her defense before, and she continues to do a great job with her on-ball pressure. She has a great understanding of the game. I love the hustle stats that she picks up with rebounding on both ends of the court. Alli’s time on the court will continue to increase and she is definitely a young athlete to keep your eyes on throughout her high school career.

When the ’29 watch list comes out, you can definitely expect to see Chapman’s name on it! She continues to shoot the ball at a high percentage. I love how hard Alli competes on both ends of the floor. I have spoken about her defense before, and she is still making every opponent work the entire length of the court. Freshman season is loading for Alli, and I know she is going to turn quite a few heads! You can catch and early highlight and follow Alli below:

Keep your eyes on Chapman! She’s the type of player that doesn’t get rattled! Often times if a few shots don’t fall through the net, players will let this affect their overall game. Not Alli! Her defense, finding the open teammates for great looks at the basket, setting screens for her teammates to have easy access for a bucket, strong handles, and her positive vibes are very much noticeable! Very coachable and team player!
