Stover took over at the point guard position in January from her sister Sam after the latter went down with a knee injury. While Halstead’s team speed and quickness forced the team to turn to more experienced and taller players to help against the Dragon pressure in their 3A state tournament quarterfinal matchup Stover showed handles and attacked the basket with athleticism and extension. One to watch in the years ahead.
