Augustin can more than comfortably create off the dribble. She is a player who is extremely under control in one-on-one situations with the ball. She is patient and decisive with what moves she chooses to use, and this often leads to her getting an open shot. One move that Augustin often uses that creates space is her crossover.

Aggressive floor general who is a downhill threat. Equipped with a nice hesi move, she gets her defender off balance as she moves toward the cup. Great court vision, solid passer, can put the ball in the net from all three levels, she is a go-getter on both ends of the floor for a solid team looking to make another run at state. Playing with effective energy, this kid sets the tone as her club competes for the ball on every possession. Anytime she touches the rock, great things tend to happen. Solid hooper who is going to get her opponent guessing as she can carve them up in a multitude of ways.

Gosh I liked this ’27s game. The freshman took exactly what the Cheatham County D was giving up by pressing up to shooters–she attacked gaps with poise and confidence. Once she got a paint touch, she was quick to make the right read–finish bag, float game, dump-down pass, corner kick. Once she created space by proving she was a threat off the bounce, she showed she was another young Loretto sniper as she can also knock down the 3 ball. She was tremendous in the first half ver Cheatham County scoring 10 points. The freshman finished the substate win with 15.
