The future Sun Prairie West guard is the kind of guard who will elevate the players around her. Winzer is a vocal kid who has the respect of the people around her. You could tell who her teammates were outside of camp because they were always together, and Winzer has noticeable leadership qualities. I also liked how willing she was to do all the things that won’t show up on box scores, like crashing the glass and boxing out. The more she leans into who she is as a player over the next four years, the better her Sun Prairie West team will be.

Played some very good defense during the drills that led into the scrimmages in a gym full of top talent. I saw a quick guard with great IQ on the defensive end today.

The Madison area talent Winzer is a quick, scoring guard; once she gets going she’s tough to stop. She can also be a problem on defense, deflections lead to transition buckets. Playing up in the 15U division with her Madison365 squad she brings confidence on both end of the floor.
