Winn has the right last name because she came up to me a few years ago and said “I’m going to show you I’m a Top 100 player” and one thing I love is seeing players back it up. She falls into that “long and ULTRA athletic” group and it ain’t aa lot of them around in this era so watching her play as if she’s above the magic umber to score, rebound as well as block shots tells me that, coupled with her mindset tells me she will be an even better college player, I don’t guess

Winn has shown me something that I love seeing since catching her with the Lady Thunder years ago. She goes hard on both ends, and falls into that “never takes a play off” group. Here’s something else: she’s showing she can take over games from either end, so I’m expecting her to close out her high school career with a bang see evaluations here

Winn just goes hard on both ends, and when you find players who “never take a play off” to the novice with a mic or not comprehending breaking things down, you won’t get it, but she gave me everything before the 5 on 5 games even started, see evaluation here Her desire to get better, as well as work on things she feels she needs also gets the #THROWBACK dropped so as good as she was in the 3 on 3, she took no prisoners as she dominated on both ends, going after everything off the rim, as well as scoring aroundthe basket as well as in transition but her seeing the floor in the open court was special

Winn is simply one of the most athletic players in Texas, you probably haven’t heard of, but I’ll keep putting her out there because she has the “you won’t outwork me” mindset, and please pay attention, I love things you can’t teach. Her jersey is always filled with sweat; in fact, she goes so hard that I need a drink of water at times, but her timing was off the chain, as well as her seeing the floor. She scored off the dribble, body control was solid, she played the passing lane, and “on the ball” pressure was smothering

Winn has made countless Tip Sheets from me over the years, see evaluations here, and I’ll never forget her telling me she would be on the Top 100 list. Her work ethic, desire to get better, and work on whatever she needed to has been a joy for me to watch, yet her confidence is among those things you can’t teach. She’s “long and athletic” which is the base, and seeing her elevate to rebound as well as score had me smiling. Her “on the ball” pressure and playing the passing lane were in full effect, as was her being hard to defend in transition

#87 up from#99 Winn tickled me when she walked up to me before her freshman season and said, “I’m going to be on that Top 100 list, watch me” and soon after, she was, and here’s one of the reasons. She will NOT be outworked, and when you see players whose jerseys are drenched with sweat after games, you get the picture, I hope. She’s elevated her game like she elevates over defenders this season, and the last couple of months have been fire, see evaluations here

Winn loves dissecting her game when we chat, and let me say this: she is one of the most underrated open-court players in the state. Yeah, she’s also “long and athletic” and a couple of inches shy of “the magic number” yet she pays taller than 6’0 and her jersey is usually soaking wet after games, #THROWBACK, because she SIMply won’t be outworked, either you understand what you’re looking at or you don’t. She elevates around the rim to score or rebound, she defends inside and outside the paint, but her court vision has gotten better

Winn is one of the best attackers from the perimeter, partly because she’s “long and athletic” and has a nice first step, yet seeing her play the passing lane, block shots, and apply heat both inside and outside the paint on defense was nice. She hit the boards and both ends, went coast to coast to finish, yet her spin move in the paint going full speed led to an “and one” opportunity that just did it for me

Winn has the right last name because she simply goes hard from the opening tip until the final buzzer and when you fall into that “you won’t outwork me” group, that’s special. She too came up big down the stretch with a defense stop and then nailed a free throw to keep them close

The way Winn bounces up to snag rebounds it seems like she has springs. Before her peers can come down she is leaping back up to secure the board. She threw a bullet pass in transition to find her teammate for an easy deuce. Winn has a powerful first step and uses it to attack from the perimeter. She has power and body control to finish at the rim or pull up for the midrange.
