Mia has a high ceiling as a forward prospect. She has a strong/robust frame, length, offensive skills, and mobility for her size that translates to the college level. Mia is fully capable of popping out to the perimeter and draining threes. She’s effective in the screen and roll, does a great job inside to deny post entry passes, and maintains good defensive positioning. Mia protects the rim, is active on the glass, and I’m anticipating her to be one of the biggest boomers as far as recruiting goes this spring/summer with MBA UAA.

Mia had a standout day at MBA tryouts, showing off her versatility as a post player who can stretch the floor with her shooting. She protects the rim with authority, rebounds with effort, and demonstrates a natural feel for the game. With her combination of skill and athleticism, she has huge upside, and I’m excited to see her make an impact this upcoming sophomore season at DeWitt.

Mia was an exciting surprise at the MBA Mother’s Day Classic. A 6-foot-plus forward with mobility and perimeter shooting abilities is a unicorn at the high school level. Mia grabbed my attention with a confident three-pointer up top and continued to impress by using crossover dribbles to create separation from defenders. Mia battled to secure rebounds and scored an offensive rebound put-back. She has sound shooting mechanics, swishing consecutive free throws with a high release. Mia showed she’s a perimeter threat by draining two more triples from the wing and the corner with a wrist-snapping follow-through. She’s going to be a prospect to follow these next few years.
