About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an all around team player. I get rebounds, blocks, steals, assists and points. I’m not selfish at all. I would rather share the ball than do everything myself. It is a team sport that requires 5 people to win. I don’t ever give up. No matter how much we are winning or losing by.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m outgoing and have lots of energy. I love being loud and cheering in my teams mates. Mentally I’m not giving up. I post not only me but my teammates beyond what most people think we are capable of.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play aau and revived awards for my grades.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Lots and lots of leadership and team work. These are really important in basketball. I have also gained the mental skill of knowing if i want something i can achieve it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

There has been some challenges. Including being in tight situations and high pressure situations. The best thing to do to remain calm.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college who is willing to give me a chance at proving what i am capable of doing.

Stella, a guard for Capitol City Express Cool, turned in a strong shooting performance during the MI College Tour III stop at Grand Valley State University on Saturday. She was in a groove offensively, connecting on multiple shots from beyond the arc while also knocking down a smooth mid-range jumper within the flow of the game. Her ability to find her spots and score in rhythm stood out throughout her time on the floor.
