Andie will be an immediate playmaker at DeWitt who complements their talented senior backcourt. Her length at the point guard spot, advanced fundamental skills, athleticism, effort, and dynamic talents have consistently impressed us at AAU tournaments, elite camps, and showcases for over a year. Andie has impressive ball-handling control, combination moves at her disposal, body control in the lane, and finishing dexterity at the rim. She’s a pinpoint three-point shooter, precision passer, shot-alterer on defense, and persistent rebounder. Andie has a high ceiling and looks ready to terrorize the conference on day one.

Andie’s length, athleticism, and ability to impact multiple areas of the game earned her a spot on my Second Team All-Showcase Team at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. During 3v3 action, the Team 2 guard showed her versatility early, displaying good footwork in the lane, using her length to come away with a block, and stepping out to knock down back-to-back threes. That all-around play carried into 5v5, where she connected on another shot from behind the arc, showed confidence handling the ball, and continued to make her presence felt defensively with another block. Andie ran the floor hard in transition, stayed active on the offensive glass for putback opportunities, and turned defense into offense after a steal by delivering a dime to a teammate on the break. One of her more impressive sequences came after securing a defensive rebound, pushing the ball coast-to-coast herself, and finishing through contact at the rim. Her combination of size, athleticism, perimeter shooting, rebounding, defense, and ability to make plays in transition made her one of my selections for the Second Team All-Showcase Team.

Andie is a long, athletic guard for Team 2 who impacted the game in a variety of ways at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. During 3v3 action, she showed good footwork in the lane, came up with a block, and knocked down back-to-back threes. Her versatility carried over into 5v5 play, where she connected on another shot from behind the arc, displayed a solid handle, and added another block. Andie ran the floor hard in transition to get a bucket and stayed active on the offensive glass, turning rebounds into putback opportunities. Defensively, she used her length well and came away with a steal before delivering a dime to a teammate in transition. She also grabbed a defensive rebound, took it coast-to-coast, and finished through contact at the rim.

Andie has been on a roll. She put herself on the PGH radar just over a year ago and has consistently stood out in front of our scouts. AAU tournaments, Headliners Invitational, GVSU Elite Camp: Andie’s advanced skill with the ball in her hands, ability to create, shoot the three, finishing finesse with either hand, vision, and length at the one spot project to the higher levels. She’s a prospect coming into the PGH Freshman Showcase to make a statement.

Andie will be an instant playmaker in the DeWitt backcourt, which is difficult to do for a program known for pumping out talent. She was a Top Performer at GVSU Elite camp and had no problems separating herself against the older girls. Andie has advanced fundamental skills and instincts/IQ for her age, which, combined with her length as a point guard, is why she’s an elite prospect in this class. One of her highlight plays happened when Andie sprinted up the floor, adjusted to a deflected pass during the fast break, scooped up the loose ball, and transferred the ball quickly to score an inside hand finish over her head. She has excellent body control and balance in the lane. Andie side-stepped a defender in front of the rim for two points, utilized a pro hop, pivoted, and hit a turnaround floater off the glass. She penetrated off the dribble and made a quick transfer to her shooting hand to score a mid-range jumper, then kicked the ball out to the corner for an assist after drawing the midline defender. Andie recognized a size advantage, pinned her defender with a strong seal, stuck with the play to secure the offensive rebound, then finished off two. She buried a corner three and scored a layup with a soft touch on a baseline drive. Andie will be one of the headliners attending our Freshman Showcase.

Andie’s consistently proven herself time and again. She’s been a top performer at showcases and on the travel circuit with MBA UA Future, standing out as an advanced point guard prospect. Her skill, length, and athleticism check off the boxes to be a highly recruited prospect in this class. Andie creates space to drive, dish, and shoot with her shifty ball-handling. She’s a threat from beyond the arc off the dribble or the catch and works equally hard to make an impact on the defensive end. DeWitt is adding another dynamic prospect to its backcourt.

Andie is a prospect who doesn’t look or play like a middle schooler. She’s long, athletic, and has advanced fundamental skills for her age. Andie had a breakout summer playing up for Mid-Michigan Excel a year ago and was one of the best middle school prospects on the court at the Headliners Invitational Showcase in October. She’s in that category of top 2030s I’ve seen in the state, and she’ll be giving 16Us all they can handle at the PGH MI College Tour with Mid-Michigan Excel.

Andie blew me away in May and I was very excited to see her again at the Headliners Invitational. Andie makes a comprehensive impact on the court, has polished skills, and leadership qualities that will make her an outstanding college prospect. She created space with a quick double-crossover move and finished with a layup. Andie used a shifty inside-out dribble, drove by her defender with a burst, and made a perfect skip pass to a teammate in the corner for an assist. She buried two step-back threes from the wing, kept her hands active on defense to create steals, and fired a laser pass up the court to an open teammate for an assist. Andie’s loud and constant verbal encouragement from the bench greatly impressed me during the games. She was a Top Performer and one of Team Liberty’s most impactful players at the Headliners Invitational.

Andie looks and plays with confidence above her age. She rocked a headband with a shooter sleeve during games, and her style suited her talent perfectly. Andie motored down the court to score a highlight reel euro step scoop layup and drove the length of the floor for another layup. She penetrated the gap with a spin dribble and kicked the ball out to a perimeter shooter. Andie showed off her 3-point range with a swish up top and added a college range bomb from beyond the arc. Andie used her length to block shots and battled to secure offensive rebounds. The physical traits and fundamental skills she showed for Mid-Michigan Excel at the Cagers Invitational have me thinking Andie is going to be a future star at the high school level.
