There were a few names that were in attendance at Recreation Athletics that also made appearance at the SCBCA Elite Camp the previous day. Williams was one of those names. Whenever she was on the court, she was finding ways to make plays – whether it was in close proximity to the basket or behind the 3-point line. If an opposing ball carrier is in front of her, Williams’ objective will be to deflect said rock from said ball carrier’s hands. She will also call for the ball when she is confident in her ability to make a play. Williams played in 24 games last season at Legion Collegiate. She averaged 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.9 steals in 2024-25 for the Lancers. 

Williams’ career through the high school ranks has taken her to Indian Land as well as to Legion Collegiate. Travel-wise, she has played on the Adidas circuit with Upward Stars 3SSB . Williams can effectively play the role of either a point guard or a shooting guard. Her prowess as a two comes in play with how accurate she can be from behind the 3-point line. That can throw plenty of defenses off guard if she decides to attack the basket. Williams also possesses an effective midrange jump shot, the ability to be agile with the ball and her high hoops IQ displays herself in her knowledge of when to attack and when to pass. 

Amelia Williams Amelia Williams 5'5" | PG C3 Concord Christian | 2027 State NC had some nice range on her shot, and she was hitting them right when her team needed it.  She got inside grabbing offensive rebounds, and she knew how to go right back up with it to score some points.  She moved well without the ball constantly finding ways to add to the play.

Williams may have had, arguably, the most impressive performance of any 2027 this past weekend in Mooresville. She is entering her sophomore season after putting up impressive numbers in her freshman campaign at Legion Collegiate. Williams averaged a robust 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.9 steals as a freshman for the Lancers. Her fearlessness in attacking the basket is one of the many attributes she possesses that makes Williams so dangerous. As those statistics display, she excels on both ends of the floor. When one is a Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite product, that is a sign they are among the best of the best in the Palmetto State.
