Amiyah Ware has been absolutely dominant on the basketball court this summer getting to the basket and even taking on double teams trying to shut her down. She keeps the same composure on the court even with a lot of pressure in tough matchups showing off her ball handling and ability to make plays off the dribble. Her IQ is excellent knowing how to pull up for jumpers from anywhere on the court or take it all the way rolling the ball off her fingertips at the rim.

is constantly making plays on offense getting the pass right to its destination or scoring herself attacking the basket. Her ability to create her own space to get off a shot is fun to watch no matter who is trying to guard her. She anticipates passes well on defense grabbing steals to push the other direction.

was scoring on all levels moving with the ball, evaluating the floor, and attacking the gaps. She keeps her defender on her hip making sure she can’t block her shot, and she moves well without the ball creating space for herself. She’s a tough defender on the other end being ready for anything the defense tries to do against her, and she communicates well with her teammates letting them know where she is to help.

seemed to be getting “and 1s” on repeat in the first half. She was ready for the offensive rebound to get some second chance points. Her play making ability was a true testament to doing the “little things” and the fundamentals right as she would attack the basket, crash the boards, handle the ball well under pressure, and constantly relocate even when she didn’t have the ball.
