I was able to catch many games throughout the day making it difficult to narrow down my top prospects. I was able to narrow it down to ten of the top performers that I saw from day 2 of the event.
Madison Powell
Madison Powell
Madison Powell was showing off her stroke knocking own three from deep in the first half. She attacks the paint making nice kicks out to the perimeter for some shots. On the other end, she’s a tough on ball defender keeping her whole body in front of any guard who tries to get by her. She has high energy communicating well with her teammates.
Amiyah Ware Amiyah Ware 5’7″ | CG Winston Salem Christian National | 2024 State NC was scoring on all levels moving with the ball, evaluating the floor, and attacking the gaps. She keeps her defender on her hip making sure she can’t block her shot, and she moves well without the ball creating space for herself. She’s a tough defender on the other end being ready for anything the defense tries to do against her, and she communicates well with her teammates letting them know where she is to help.
Bailee Goodlett Bailee Goodlett 5’6″ | PG North Rowan | 2024 State NC plays hard on both ends of the court pushing the tempo and finding her open teammates. She hustles back on defense stopping fast breaks. She serves as a good floor general for her team giving them directions even when she doesn’t have the ball.
Sidney Blackwell Sidney Blackwell 5’7″ | CG Porter Ridge | 2025 State NC is an excellent ball handler seeing the floor well and finding the best course of action to get her team some points. She penetrates the paint and makes the perfect kick, or she takes it all the way herself. She makes some nice adjustments at the rim knowing how to score even with hands in her face.
Peyton Harvey Peyton Harvey 5’8″ | PG AC Reynolds | 2025 State NC was playing hard on both ends of the court constantly moving to find the openings and playing full court defense blocking the path of her opponents. She did a nice job driving to the paint and dishing it out to her teammates for their own shot. She dropped down to the block for the pass and bucket, too. She hit a nice transition three pointer turning right around to deflect a pass on the press and grab the steal.

Ava Young
Ava Young was aggressive attacking the basket. She did a nice job passing and moving finding the opening to put up her shot. She grabbed steals on defense to push the other direction. She had a talent of attacking the gaps and finding the openings with and without the ball. She did a nice job directing her teammates where to go to find the open looks. She follows shots on both ends for rebounds. She used one move and got by her opponent to pull up for her jump shot.
Whitney “Erin” Rogers was showing off her stroke from deep knocking them down right off the pass making it difficult for her defender to close out any space. She snuck behind her opponents cutting to the basket finding the opening. She had a lot of versatility on defense being able to guard a variety of players.
Breonna Roaf Breonna Roaf 5’7″ | PG Terry Sanford | 2025 State NC knows how to push the tempo grabbing the rebound and pushing the ball up the court. She jumps in front of passing lanes and explodes up the court for some fast break points. She showed off her range relocating after the pass to score some points. She makes adjustments well finding ways to get the entry pass to her teammates.
Emma Montanari Emma Montanari 5’8″ | CG East Lincoln | 2026 State NC continues to show her strong takes to the basket battling through contact and making some nice adjustments at the rim. She does a nice job seeing the floor and making the perfect pass to her teammate to grab it and score. She hustled up the court when she didn’t have the ball being ready for the pass and bucket in transition.
Kate Schindler Kate Schindler 6’0″ | CG Marvin Ridge | 2026 State NC followed shots on both ends using offensive rebounds for some putback points. She’d make one move and score when needed off the rebound. She hit some long shots around the arc on back to back possessions right when her team needed to make a run increasing their lead.
