Rebounds very well. Accounted for 7 rebounds in the first half for the Blue Devils. She came out on a mission scoring ten points in the third quarter after Sunnyside was struggling to get some shots down. A high impact player and one of the top available forwards in Southern Arizona.

Yanez continues to have a strong start to the season. Shes been a key reason why the Blue Devils are off to a 10-1 start and have won both of their in season tournament championships. Most recently scoring a game high 18 points against Wasilla a powerhouse team from Alaska. Yanez on the season is averaging 10.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1 block per game. She is scoring 49 percent from the field and is dominant in the paint. Yanez is impressive with every showing and is under recruited.

Yanez is a HIGHLY under recruited player in the 2026 class. Very tough and plays through contact really well. Has a high level mid range and a nice floater. Rebounds extremely well and is a gifted shot blocker. Has great footwork and moves well around the floor. Sets strong screens and works the pick and roll well. Yanez continues to develop really well and will her name rise in the rankings thought the season.

Yanez showed to good but also showed that she still has the room to be very good. She was absolutely dominant as she led the Blue Devils to a win over Chino HS. Yanez finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals and was 6/8 shooting. Finished very well at the basket through contact and finished a few 3 point plays at the free throw line. Has a nice mid range and knows how to use the glass to finish tough shots.
