A’Niyah made an impressive showing in the state title game for Lake Highland Prep as a freshman. She finished with 7 points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field and added 2 rebounds. Her efficient scoring and composure on the big stage highlighted her potential for the future.

A’Niyah debuts at No. 19 after while logging significant minutes at Lake Highland Prep at a young age on a team who always plays against top competition. She will continues to play a key role for an LHP team that brought back nearly its entire roster. A’Niyah plays the game like a true point guard, handling the ball with pace, getting downhill, and creating opportunities for her teammates. She finishes well in traffic with polished step-throughs and euro steps and consistently makes the right reads. After a strong showing at the Freshman Showcase, A’Niyah establishes herself as one of the top 2029 guards in Central Florida.

A’Niyah missed almost half of the season last year due to injury, but she was putting up over 6 ppg and nearly 3 rpg as an 8th grader on one of the top programs in that state. She’ll be part of a very talented six player rotation at the top of this LHP lineup that competes against a tough schedule which will only help her out in the long run. I expect her to turn a lot of heads with her ability to play unselfish basketball with her passing but also show off her footwork when attacking the rim.

A’Niyah has already played a lot of minutes for Lake Highland Prep at a young age, and she has recently returned from a meniscus injury. Her playing time will stay heavy with solid minutes for a LHP team that returns nearly their entire roster. She handles the ball well, plays with good pace, gets downhill, shares the rock, and has a nice step through move in the paint. A’Niyah is undoubtedly one of the best 2029’s from Central Florida after a strong showing at the Freshman Showcase.

A’Niyah is a player I haven’t seen in person yet. On film, she’s a shifty point guard that can get downhill, shares the ball, and can rebound with nice size as a young guard. She has good genes and came back this summer after a meniscus setback. Looking forward to seeing her compete against the best in her class!
