Grand Island Central Catholic High School may not of won their State Title this season for their Class but that doesn’t change the fact that they put together a very memorable season. A big part of their success was due to their upperclassmen and their efforts. One of those players being PG, Anna Tibbetts Anna Tibbetts 5'4" | PG Grand Island Central Catholic | 2025 NE . Tibbetts is a trend setter and high end player when she is in the zone. Just like any prospect playing in any sport, when Tibbetts has the confidence of herself and the teammates around her to support, she is so much better. She plays smooth basketball, with a crafty style. Being a smaller guard can be tough and sometimes you have to adapt with what you do. If you want to be someone that everyone talks about, you need to be efficient and show them that you mean business. I think that Tibbetts and her squad did that every game in one way or another this season. I am curious how they are going to be come back this next season but we will just have to wait and see. This program is known for being really sound and fundamental. If they stick to that, they are going to continue to find success in my opinion.
