The Arkansas Warriors’ McGhee was easily the top perimeter shooter on day one. The wiry small forward opened her second game of the day by scoring 9 of her teams first 16 points by nailing three balls from each wing and from a long elbow. Her last of 5 all net threes came late in a close game from a step outside of the center circle. Consistently a smooth, swift release.

Farmington graduated a lot of their star power from this past championship squad. If they want to win a state championship for the fourth year in a row, they need to find new players who can come in and contribute. McGhee has been consistent on the offensive end, posting 13 points against the Houston Aces and 11 points versus the Oklahoma Legacy. In the game against the Legacy, she was more than just a scorer, coming up with 5 steals in the victory. Against the Aces, the guard crashed the glass effectively, pulling down 4 rebounds.
McGhee impressed a lot of people with her 3-point shooting ability, where she was knocking down those outside shots at a 38% clip. Though she averaged around 8 points per game in the Heart of Texas Showcase, she can heat up quickly. Thanks to her length and her laser from beyond the arc, she put up 18 points in game 2 of the Border War.
