is being mentioned again for an article about shooting? Yeah, me neither.
McCollough is on multiple leaderboards for her play during her previous playoff runs. This includes her hitting 12 threes in a playoff game (most ever). She also scored 54 points in a single postseason contest, which is the third most ever scored. McCollough’s regular season records are ridiculous, too.
This past season, she knocked down 160 3-pointers, which is good for the second-most all-time in a single season, only behind Norfork legend and former Crowley’s Ridge College star, Kelcy Acklin. McCollough also beat her own record from her freshman season, when she hit 138 triples that season, which has her tied for the fourth most made in a single campaign. Oh, that’s not all, folks.
When it comes to a single game,

has put herself in the record books multiple times. She has hit 10 3-pointers in a game at least twice, both times this past year, which is the 10th most all-time. She also hit 11 triples during a game this year, which is the 7th best mark in a single game in state history.

‘s name is littered across the state record books for both the state tournament and the regular season. This past playoff run, Farmington obviously won it all (once again), but the Lady Cardinals’ superstar had herself quite the postseason.
No one has hit more threes in a playoff game in state history than McCollough, who nailed 12 in this past postseason run. She makes quite the argument as the top shooter in the state, in addition to being the top player in Arkansas. Her shooting is truly outstanding, and her quick release, good shot arc, and extreme confidence are evidence of that.
Shooting from beyond the arc is not the only way McCollough scores, as there is truly no limit to her scoring capabilities. No matter what shot she has inside the arc, she can knock it down. Her handle is too clean to strip, and she can get by any defender on her way to the bucket. She can also pull up in the lane for a floater over 5 defenders, or step back and hit a middy. She showed all that when she scored 54 points in a game during the 2026 postseason.

Okay, when is Easton McCullough NOT on a heat check?
I’ve seen this young lady play many times, and every single time she steps on the floor, she has the capability to go off from beyond the arc. She’s got DEEP range at that.
I believe the hardest part about guarding her is just how smooth her shot is. She’s the type of shooter that can pull right up into it the second you back up a step to defend the drive.
Just a consistent shooter that I’d guess knocks down 4-5 threes a game. A true “Hand Down, Man Down” type of player.

One of the elite players in the country, McCollough is simply a walking bucket. Even against waves of aggressive and athletic pressure, she was unflappable. Was never sped up.
Defenders too close? She’d glide by and score at the rim. An inch of space? She’d stop and drain it with a nothing but net hit, from mid-range or three. Which she did over and over. It was a special display of scoring for a special player.

is this team’s biggest playmaker.
McCollough had a great start to the playoffs, hitting a ridiculous 12 3-pointers in the first round. Of course, she is a brilliant markswoman from beyond the arc, being able to hit from all over the court, and equally deadly off the catch and off the dribble.
I talk a lot about her scoring and her playmaking, but her defense has been very impressive, despite her high usage on the offensive end. Her IQ on the defensive side of the floor is fantastic, as she reads plays quickly, tipping passes away, and beating opponents to their spots. McCollough’s ability to force turnovers gives Farmington plenty of opportunities to get out and run in transition.

continues to make her case for Gatorade Player of the Year, and if she takes this team all the way to the title, I don’t see why they won’t win what may be their fifth consecutive state title.

ends up being the top player from any game this season, and she certainly was against the Yellowjackets.
McCollough cemented her #1 ranking in the state, putting up a team-high 28 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals. She shot 50% from the 3-point line, knocking down 6 of her 12 triples, and she hit all 5 of her free throws.
McCullough just makes everything look easy. She was dialing up shots from well beyond the 3-point line, and making them over the hands of defenders. Because she is such a dangerous shooter, driving lanes tend to open up, and she does not hesitate to exploit them. Her shot creating ability is incredible, but her court vision was on full display in the game, as she was constantly finding open teammates when she was doubled.

The number #1 player in the Class of 2028 left no doubt as she was on fire from deep and really anywhere on the floor Saturday. I am not sure what her percentage was for the day but I would guess at least 50%. The most impressive thing about her game is she gets everyone involved while still dropping a scoring point total.
I will would also like to add that Easton is putting up these numbers while she is playing in the 2027 division.

was crowned the MVP of the championship game. She played all but 12 seconds in the game and left Hot Springs with her first varsity title.
McCollough led all scorers with 24 points and added 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks. The star shot 4/9 from the 3-point line, making it rain almost every quarter. With her quick release and ability to shoot off the dribble and the catch, there is not much the defense can do to stop her. She also forced her way to the free throw line, going 4/7 at the stripe.

was the driving force all season for the Lady Cardinals, continuing her stellar play in the postseason.
In the 5A title game against Greene County Tech, the freshman took home MVP honors after posting 24 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. She also shot 4/9 from 3-point land. Against Vilonia in the playoffs, she scored 18 of Farmington’s 25 points in the first quarter. McCollough’s great play kicked off when she had 36 points in the first round versus Parkview.
Farmington’s superstar is one of the best 3-point shooters in the state, and probably one of the best in the southern United States. She has a quick release and an excellent follow-through on her shot. She is fantastic off the catch and the dribble. McCollough is also a threat in the open court, capitalizing off turnovers by scoring easily in transition.

is one of the best players in the state as just a freshman. She is one of the most impressive guards in the country, especially with her ability to shoot the ball and get going quickly.
McCollough started the tournament with a 36-point outing in round 1, then she posted 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals versus Benton in round 2.
McCollough is great at creating her shot, especially when she uses a screen. If the defense goes under the screen, she will not hesitate to pull it from beyond the arch, where she has solidified herself as one of the best shooters in the state. If the defense goes over, she can beat them off the dribble.
