Johnson left a lasting first impression years ago, after all, she was “long and athletic” which is and always will be the base, but watching her timing and doing things instinctively as well as reacting in certain situations told me what was coming. She rebounded on both ends and even handled the ball afterward to help lead her team to the 5A Division 2 title but her scoring around the basket and defense earned her All-Tournament honors
