Ariana Meriedy had a terrific game for Riverdale Baptist in their win over Woodgrove. Ariana always plays with a great motor, and he is a big presence on both ends of the floor. Ariana dominates the paint and does a great job finishing her teammate’s passing. She can score out the post and knows where to be. She finished with 18 points.

Ariana was the was the last player in the rotation in Team Takeovers game against Team Melo but her entrance paid off immediately. She not only grabbed boards but she scored on multiple putbacks. Just to add to the pot, the 6’3″ post shoed that she can stroke it from the three as well.

Ariana made a huge jump of over 40 spots in the rankings. She in long and when given the opportunity she is very effective inside. She is good on the glass and alters shots well. Her game really picked up steam towards the end of the season.

Ariana had a monster 20 point double double. She most likely gained some offers from the college coaches on hand in this game. She has good size and plays well with her back to the basket. She surprised me knocking down an open three pointer but her real work was dominating the paint against a real 6’3″ guarding her.

With the Crusaders losing some six footers to graduation, now is the time to debut Ariana for the future of RBS. At 6’2″ she has the size to step on a college campus and help day one. She can certainly use this tournament as her audition for the premier player spot for her senior season.

Ariana is long and has good size at 6’2″. She was part of the mass exodus from Wise and has found a home at Riverdale Baptist. I expect her to have a strong senior year as she will be the primary post for the Crusaders barring a major incoming transfer.
