. Jackson was the heart beat of this team in a lot of areas. She averaged 19.9 PPG on 45% shooting, 8.8 RPG, and 2.8 APG on the way to a 15-8 record. Iowa State is getting a good player and even better individual with this one. She can get others involved just as well as she can score and rebound. She is extremely active on both ends of the floor, securing a lot of rebounds for a point guard who needs to score a good amount for her team to be successful. She has the ability to break down a defender off of the dribble and create for herself or others in a number of ways. This is something that anyone who has watched her is used to as you can tell from her numbers this previous season. She should be proud of the career she has had up until this point with the hungry to be a real factor at the high D1-level, something I’m sure she will be working on from now until opening tip off of her first game with the Cyclones.

has a nasty step back jumper to go along with her savvy court sense helping her claim the #3 spot in this rankings update. Jackson, the Iowa State commit, is defined as “a bucket”. She can handle and spot up off the ball. She is a true shooting guard by her play style and it fairs well for her, as she often does a good job beating her opponents to the hoop on a back door cut of some kind when they are not paying attention. The most impressive thing that she displays is how well she moves off the ball. She has a good feel to know when to cut back door for a pass and finish, she can finish with either hand on both sides of the hoop, or she can catch and spot up for a mid range jumper. This season she will look to lead her Des Moines-Roosevelt High School team to a conference championship while picking up from where she left off last year, taking that momentum into the playoffs and into college.
