Martinez is a deadly sharpshooter who can torch defenses from beyond the arc. This dynamic 5’4″ Combo-Guard features textbook mechanics, including a high release and the knack for hitting contested shots. She is a two-time all-state selection for Robertson. As a freshman, she efficiently averaged 11.6 points per game on 44/43 shooting splits (field goal/three-point percentage) across 27 games.

In total, she has compiled 587 points, a class-best 85 three-pointers over 53 games, and an 11.1 points-per-game average for the Cardinals. She is one of only three players in her class to average double figures — and the lone one to do so while shooting at least 40 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range.

In a nutshell, Martinez is a talented offensive threat, who can light it up from behind the arc with great efficiency.

Altogether, Martinez has yielded 587 points, 130 rebounds, 96 assists and 116 steals with 85 3PM in 53 games played for the Cardinals.

It was exciting to see Martinez play in CO. Don’t let the height fool you, this guard is the total package. Quick is an understatment and with the handles to get around defenders in the open court and in traffic, she leaves many defenders standing still. Don’t give Arianna too much space, she can come off screens and create her own shot in both the mid-range and from behind the arch for her points. On D, this guard is just as troublesome. She is getting steals, she is in the passing lanes, she is even taking charges in the paint. Martinez gets it done on both ends. Watch out for this guard in her next showing.

Freshman guard, Arianna Martinez Arianna Martinez 5'4" | CG/SG Mora | 2028 State NM , kept Robertson afloat with a team-high 18 points and 4 steals. However, the Cardinals fell short, 55-45 in the 3A Final Four vs the Eagles.

This past week, Martinez had two solid performances for Robertson, especially from a scoring standpoint. In the latter half of the week, the 5’4″ combo-guard set a new season-high with 21 points at St. Michael’s on Jan. 31.

That said, the skilled freshman averaged 17.0 points per game, posting shooting splits of 45/40/80 (FG/3P/FT) over the two-game stretch.

Martinez was the third leading scorer among the 2028 class in 2023-24. Not to mention, the top three-point shooter.

The 5’4″ combo-guard averaged 10.5 points per game with 38 three-pointers, posting shooting splits of 44/38 (FG/3P). Additionally, Martinez averaged 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals.

Such stat-line, resulted in Martinez earning an All-State nod in 3A.
