Smith used her length and explosiveness to get downhill, rise over defenders, and finish around the basket. She was not afraid of contact and consistently put pressure on the defense with aggressive drives. When defenders backed off, she showed confidence in her pull-up jumper and gave flashes of a developing scoring package that could become dangerous.

What separated Smith was her ability to impact more than one area of the game. She rebounded above her position, competed against bigger players, and used her athleticism to create extra possessions.
