Ariyana James is a twitchy/athletic guard for East Lansing and a prospect who makes plays on both ends of the court. She stood out as a top defender at the PGH 250 Expo and put those same skills on display last week. She forces turnovers with her long arms and then turns on the jets to finish transition layups. Ariyana has an efficient mid-range pull-up and uses her smooth footwork and long strides to convert layups with both hands. She has the potential to be an outstanding prospect as she continues to develop her outside shooting and ball handling in the half court.
