It was truly a pleasure to watch Lead Guard Armani Thomas Armani Thomas 5'5" | PF Lauderdale County | 2026 State AL perform at our PGH EXPO! 

Thomas thrives in the open court. Her acceleration is elite, and when she turns the corner, few defenders can keep up. She’s explosive in transition — capable of pushing tempo, finishing through contact, or finding open teammates on the run. Her ability to change pace and attack off the dribble makes her a constant threat.

Perhaps Thomas’s greatest strength is her motor. She competes with a chip on her shoulder every possession, setting an emotional standard for her team. Her leadership is evident — whether she’s diving on the floor for loose balls, celebrating a teammate’s success, or locking up the opposing team’s best player.

Armani sticks to her matchups like glue, wherever they go, Armani is right there with them. She’s not going to let the ball-handler get comfortable or even put the ball on the floor. One very special skill about Armani is her recovery speed. There’s no such thing as beating Armani or getting passed her because she’s going to recover and get right back in front of you. Her lateral quickness is up there with collegiate athletes and is something that coaches would love in a player.

Armani is a tremendous athlete, displaying quickness and relentless tenacity on defense, consistently playing with maximum effort. Throughout the game, she was in opponents’ faces, creating discomfort and forcing turnovers. Her recovery speed was particularly impressive; even when overextending for a steal or getting beat, she instantly returned to a strong defensive stance. Offensively, Armani utilizes her elite speed to aggressively attack the rim and is also a capable shooter. Her impactful defense significantly contributed to her team’s success, making it extremely challenging for opponents to score.

Armani is one of the most skilled two-way players I’ve seen in a while. Her offensive game has no limits she can score on all three levels; she’s a great passer with keen vision and she has impressive ball-handling it’s like the ball is on a string when she’s dribbling. Armani is also very quick, when she drives to the goal, she gets there in an instant! Her quickness translates to her defensive game very well, she’s able to keep up with anyone on the court. She’s great in forcing turnovers and finishing in transition.
