She’s long and athletic, with versatility that makes her very effective as an inside-outside wing-forward. Ashlyn knocked down a smooth mid-corner jumper, took the ball straight to the basket on a hard drive in transition to earn a trip to the free-throw line, and crashed the boards with determination to score strong putbacks in a crowd. Ashlyn is interested in pursuing a degree in Biology.

In my first time seeing Ashlyn in action, the junior forward from Reeths-Puffer immediately stood out with the confidence she brought to the floor. She led her team in scoring Monday night, consistently finishing strong around the rim and doing a great job of sealing her defender to establish position in the paint. Ashlyn showed a strong understanding of timing and spacing, creating high-percentage opportunities for herself while staying poised under pressure. She also made her presence felt on the glass, battling for rebounds on both ends and giving her team extra possessions with her effort and physicality.
