Ashlyn’s defense, rebounding, and toughness stood out during my time watching her play for Mystics 16U S40 Metz at the PGH MI College Tour II. She won rebounding battles on both ends and scored a strong putback through contact. Ashlyn moved her feet well and used her long arms to limit high-percentage looks at the basket, forcing many misses on the defensive end. She created steals and quickly passed the ball up the floor to assist on transition points. Ashlyn helped her team reach the Gold Championship Game and received All-Tournament First Team recognition.

Ashlyn had a breakout sophomore campaign for McBain, receiving First Team All-Conference recognition. She averaged 13 points per game, shooting an efficient 61% from the floor. Ashlyn contributed in every category, averaging six rebounds, three steals, two assists, and one block for the Ramblers. She has a team-first mindset, understands spacing, has a high basketball IQ, handles the ball well, and is a solid defender. Ashlyn’s length, effort, and versatile skill set make her a matchup problem for opposing guards and forwards.

Ashlyn, a sophomore wing for undefeated McBain, has been a major contributor to her team’s perfect 16–0 start this season. She has the ability to score in bunches, heating up quickly and putting pressure on defenses with her versatility and confidence. Beyond her scoring, Ashlyn rebounds exceptionally well on both ends of the floor, battling for boards and creating extra possessions for her team. Defensively, she uses her length to disrupt passing lanes, contest shots, and make opponents uncomfortable. Her all-around production and impact have played a key role in McBain’s dominant run.

Ashlyn stood out for Mystics Chosen 2028 at the Select Super Showcase. She snagged an inbounds pass, then finished strong through contact for the and-one layup. Ashlyn caught a zip entry pass with soft hands and scored off two feet. She converted many free throws at the line and ripped the ball away for a steal on the defensive end. Ashlyn threw a perfect lob-entry pass to a teammate for the assist and will be a versatile prospect to watch for the talented McBain program this winter.
