Five-foot-9 forward Ashlyn Hicks Ashlyn Hicks 5'9" | PF Beaverton | 2027 State OR uses her size and athleticism to be a force in the lane and on the offensive boards. She has great movement off the ball, slashes in the paint, and finishes around the rim. Hicks is a tenacious defender who runs the court, wins hustle plays, and rebounds on both ends. She played with Northwest Select in the Select Events Select 40 circuit over the summer. Hicks was a key rotational player on a Beaverton squad that fell to a Jazzy Davidson-led Clackamas squad in the second round of the 6A playoffs last season. The Beavers should return all of their starters, contend with Southridge for the Metro League title, and make it to the 6A state tournament this year.
