is a 5’9” combo guard out of Beaverton High School. She has a high IQ level out on the court and the ability to read the floor and her opponents well. She is very fast on both ends of the court. She can shoot from a distance and attack the hoop quickly.
She stood out this weekend because of her aggressive abilities and competitive nature. She had a strong leadership presence in the gym and was not afraid to step up during demonstrations. She even stayed after camp and was still eager to learn more from the trainers and staff. It’s her hard work ethic and talents in basketball that will carry her far in her upcoming season with Beaverton.

is an unflashy finisher from all three levels. The 5-foot-9 point guard has smooth handles and improved her ability to read the floor and take care of the ball. She’s calm and steady and goes into another gear with the hesitation or the between to get downhill. Oluwafemi has a nice pull-up and soft touch from three-point and midrange. She’s even-keeled and can be counted on to make the clutch play. Oluwafemi averaged 13.3 points (shooting 36% from the field and 32% from three), 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2 steals per game and was named to the Metro League First Team her sophomore year.

is calm and collected directing traffic as the point guard for the Beavers. She has great vision and playmaking abilities. Oluwafemi can beat the first defender and drive to the rim, or find teammates cutting in the paint with a perfectly timed and weighted bounce pass for the assist. She led the Beavers in scoring with 9 points in her first game of the season, 7 came in the second half after the underclassman adjusted to South Medford’s experienced defenders who picked her up full-court. Beaverton trailed by more than 30 at halftime, but Oluwafemi came out with determination on the first play of the third quarter and drove strong to the basket for the finish. And-1. She hit a catch-and-shoot wing 3 and a pull-up 3. She sold the pump fake from the arc, took the space, and pulled up for a middy. Swish. Her form looks great. Oluwafemi added another 9 points in her second game. She brings the ball up under pressure, goes between the legs, and makes the bounce pass through the double-team to break the press. She dribbles beyond the arc to the wing, looking up, tween-tween to lull the defender, then sinks a pull-up 3. Oluwafemi is averaging 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2 steals after four games, three against ranked opponents.

showed no fear or weakness in her freshman season, earning second team all-league honors as the only freshman to get any postseason recognition in the league. Oluwafemi possesses collegiate athleticism, length, a tenacity on defense that causes problems for opposing teams with constant deflections and steals. She is one of the best 3-level scorers that I’ve seen with abilities to catch and shoot from beyond the arc, attack the rim, and smoothly pull up from mid-range. Oluwafemi will only continue to get better with age and development, so coaches will want to know her name.

has already herself as a player that is very hard for opposing teams to stop. At 5’9 with an incredible amount of strength and a smooth jumper, Oluwafemi can score from anywhere on the floor: under the hoop, the mid-range, or beyond the arc and can play any position asked of her. For six games in a row, she scored over a third of the Wildcats’ points all by herself, which included 19 points against Forest Grove, 25 points and 5 rebounds over South Salem, and 14 points and 5 rebounds versus West Linn. She quickly asserts herself as one of the best players on the floor within minutes of watching her, and it is difficult to believe that she is only a freshman based on her level of play. Oluwafemi is an elite athlete who can wreak havoc on the boards or on the defensive end as well. As they look to begin Metro League play, Westview will be lucky to have a young star like Oluwafemi on their side, and it will be exciting as she continues to improve.
