About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an aggressive, team-first shooting guard who brings energy, toughness, and consistency every possession. I defend the ball at a high level, create deflections, and hustle for loose balls. Offensively, I look to score while also creating opportunities for my teammates. I provide leadership, momentum, and constant engagement on both ends of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a highly competitive mindset and take pride in giving my best in every aspect of the game and preparation. From nutrition and weight training to practice and recovery. I’m motivated and driven to become the best athlete, teammate, and student possible, and I’m committed to doing whatever it takes to improve.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through six years of varsity basketball, I’ve developed leadership and teamwork skills by learning from past leaders and stepping into that role myself. I lead through encouragement, accountability, and support. Leadership at work and college coursework strengthened my communication, discipline, and decision-making. I’ve learned that trust and relationships off the court drive success on it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At 13, I earned a varsity spot but lacked the strength, skill, confidence, and IQ of older teammates. Limited minutes were hard, but learning from high-level players built my work ethic and toughness. As a homeschool athlete, limited exposure and travel challenges taught me resilience, focus, and using adversity as motivation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where faith can continue to be a priority for me. I want to be in an environment that challenges me to become the best version of myself both on and off the court and pushes me to reach my full potential. Academically, I plan to study exercise science, so I’m seeking a school with a strong program in that field that supports my long-term goals.
