A freshman starter for Lincoln School this season, Wakins was a critical piece in the quest to win a championship. LS definitely earned their trophy as they battled it out and Aubrey’s regular double-digit scoring really helped propel the high-powered squad. It was hard for teams to have to pay attention to the triple-threat LS presented and it was typically Aubrey who got to take advantage when the attention was shifted to the upperclassmen. It’ll be intriguing to see what she can do next season with even more touches. Watch out for her this spring/summer though; Aubrey has proven after this season that she’s a prominent stock riser that can’t be overlooked any more.
