There is a lot I could say about Ava Boyce Ava Boyce 5'7" | SG Gretna | 2024 NE but the best part of her game is how she FEASTS on defense. Boyce is a 5’4 PG, that displays active hands and feet on floor. She is someone that understands the risk-reward part of the game, usually creating a lot of steals against any opponent that she is matching up against. This past Varsity season, Boyce killed it on defense and that led to a lot of great offense for her teammates in transition. She was a prospect that you can mark down for at least 3 steals throughout the duration of game, all while running her teams offense on that side of the ball. None of this surprises me though. When I had a chance to see Boyce this past Spring, she was doing the same thing. Getting her hands on deflected passes and turning that into buckets on the other end. If we are talking about one of the best Guard defenders throughout this 2024 Class in Nebraska, she is definitely in that conversation after the high school career she just put together. A year that she is going to be able to look back on in the future and smile at.
