Ava is a player who could make some serious noise next season. She has a very well rounded game, being able to score from all 3 levels and defend at a very high rate. She plays on or ball the ball well, being able to facilitate or fill the role her coach needs her to do. Her basketball IQ is very high which leads to not many mistakes on the court. She should definitely be ranked within the 2024 class.

How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?rn-I think me and my team worked together to be a solid unit on the court. From league all the way to state we showed growth and played an amazing solid season.

What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?rn-I think the biggest obstacle me and my team faced was playing enumclaw in Districts. We had lost by 4 in the game we played them in league and ended up beating them by 15 in Districts to give us a great spot in the round of 16.

What do you think you improved most on the court?rn-I feel like I improved most in my leadership and confidence on the court.

What are you looking to improve before next season?rn-I am looking to improve on my pull up 3’s.

Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season? Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?rn-Some teammates that really stood out to me this year was Dakota Sprouse, Morgan Greene, and Josie Jacobs. I think a player who could have a crazy breakout year next year is Josie Jacobs. She has put in the effort and her defense really has a big impact on our game play.

Ava is an extremely consistent player. She always does her job, knowing her role very well. She’s getting better as the weeks go on and I don’t see that stopping. Against Orting, she dropped 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. She will be consistent all season long and I’m excited to follow along with her year.
