Ava is one of two sophomore starters for the Legacy Sabers and plays with a confidence not usually found in such a young athlete. She plays with great pace and tempo and is a very good ball handler. She is a great athlete and very strong and tough for her size. She is currently averaging 3.7 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game. The assists average is particularly impressive for a sophomore point guard. Ava’s scoring role will increase as older players graduate and I think she is going to be a great point guard for years to come.
