Marlee very easily could have found herself in the article I am writing about the best shooters I saw at the Select Events in Ohio over the course of five days the last week. I watched Sanford Sports play a number of times because of the distance they traveled, the talent and reputation they brought with them, and the very high level of competition they played. Against the Michigan Mystics and United NJ, Falcon consistently knocked down shots from several feet behind the three point line. She is not just a shooter however, as she used her quickness to get the basket several times in the dribble-drive offense her team ran. Bigger players could not stay with her or in front of her when she drove and cut to the basket whether she had the basketball or not. Smaller players had no effect stopping or contesting her shots as she elevated over them before ripping the nets from just about anywhere over half court. She is a physically strong player who should be able to come in and contribute right away next year when she enrolls at South Dakota to continue her athletic and academic career.

Marlee has already received about a dozen Division 1 scholarship offers up to this point. She is playing on Sanford Sioux Falls top 17U team that plays on the Under Armour Circuit. The team she plays on has a ton of talent and college coaches constantly line up their courts each tournament. Falcon is a 6’2 sniper with good strength and athleticism. Her elite shooting ability paired with her size makes her the best recruit in this class. She earned All-WDA honors as well as 2nd-Team All-State honors this past season. Her 2025-2026 season averages were 19.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.

The Legacy standout has had a terrific summer season. The 6’3 wing showed out nearly every tournament and her list of offers has exploded due to her excellent play. She currently holds offers from University of South Dakota, North Dakota State University, South Dakota State University, University of North Dakota, Montana, Omaha, Drake, Harvard, and Utah.

Marlee’s offers keep coming in with the latest offer being from Drake. The 6’2 off-guard is a special talent in the state. She has multiple Division 1 offers and they will keep piling up as the summer season wraps up and her junior season starts. Marlee’s size allows her to defend multiple positions at the next level but she really shines on the offensive end. She is one of the best shooters in the state, making a high number of threes at an incredible percentage. She is going to go somewhere big.

Marlee is about to blow up on the Division 1 scene after having a handful of really great performances the last few AAU tournaments she has played in.  She has received D1 offers from the regional schools and I anticipate her getting more offers after this weekend.  She is one of the best deep three-point threats in the region and is a true 6’3.  She will be a key asset at the next level, being a big wing who can step out and space the floor.

Marlee is the top rated sophomore in North Dakota due to her outstanding size and athletic ability. She is one of the leading scorers in the WDA and an excellent three point shooter. She can guard anyone and has had a terrific season. She is averaging 18 points per game and ten rebounds per game. She shoots 43% from the field, 39% from the three, and 73% from the free-throw line.
