Point forward from Norwayne. Really added to her reputation with a run to the state finals for Norwayne last year. Super athletic – played inside against smaller defenders and helped bring the ball up the court against pressure. On an undersized team, was a valuable rebounder throughout the weekend.

Ava has a beautiful shot! Maibach thrives on making plays, and man can she put up points in a jiffy! She uses her defense to fuel her offense! You don’t want to get in a track meet with her either- she has a never ending motor!

Anyone who saw the state tournament knows how good this young lady is. As a junior, her stock has risen the last couple of weeks as she led her team to the state runner-up. Multidimensional player who can beat you inside or out. Her motor never stops. Handles adversity well, just a gamer!

You are a thorn in opponents sides with how you play on both ends of the ball! Rebounding shows heart, grit, and dirty work- and you possess all of these qualities in your game! Love your drives to the bucket! 

First time I have seen her in person, she has great length and knows where she needs to be on the court. Very good wingspan, solid handles and is a multidimensional player. Can battle inside or out. 

Love her footwork in the paint, able to finish through traffic on either side. Shifty with the ball, has a next gear when she explodes to the rim. Good and athletic, creative and a good floor leader. Continuing to improve her game heading into her junior season.
