About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play on the post and play physical with tough defense. I also like to stretch the floor and attack from the wing, pull up for a three. I also like to play fast and use the high post and mid range jump shot to my advantage.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm easy going and respect my coaches and refs. I'm a team player and alway try to make the best basketball I can.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I coach 3rd and 4 graders every season to give back to the youth program. I also work at a youth basketball camp every summer.

Ava is very difficult to score on, consistently blocking shots and using her strength to finish through contact. She’s a confident shooter from both mid-range and beyond the three-point line, able to knock down contested shots and get her release off quickly. Ava also hustles for loose balls, showing her commitment on both ends of the court.
